Force And Destiny Full Rules ForFull rules for playing six careers, eighteen specializations, and eight species, enabling flexible character creation and development. Morality rules to invest player characters in the story of Force and Destiny - Starship combat, customizable equipment, Force powers, dangerous adversaries, and much, much more. Even Knight-level (the new advanced start option) characters wont be cutting through hordes of battle droids without a scratch or back-flipping through a droid factory like theyre in a video game. This is still a FFG Star Wars game so combat can be just as short and brutal as ever. That said, the new Force user classes do have some awesome combat abilities (and plenty of options for other roles). Thankfully, none of them are so overwhelmingly good that they invalidate careers from other books if youre running a mixed game. Of course, the biggest draw here is the expansion of the Force powers. While Age and Edge each had some different powers, this book includes all the powers from both of the other books and some new powers as well, including a few for high Force Rating characters. In addition to the usual material, theres a selection of new equipment for Jedi including some lightsaber variants and new crystals for them as well as rules for holocrons. The adversary section is excellent as well with the rules for Inquisitors in particular giving GMs a great system for making a memorable Big Bad for their games. Overall, Force and Destiny is a great book for players looking for a game focused on the mystic side of the galaxy. GMs can craft their own Clone Wars era stories and you can all be Jedi on the front lines fighting side by side their clone battalions Or perhaps be a small group of Jedi survivors at the start of Order 66. Everything from how Force Powers are set up, to the custom Light Saber rules. FD has everything you need to build powerful force-wielding player characters and send them on campaigns into the forgotten mystical heart of the Star Wars universe. ![]() You will be very happy with this series, and will play the entire line for years to come.
